Achievements

Through this grant, Electorates’ fear in respect of INEC’s readiness for the elections was minimized through the door to door voter education activities; A good number eligible voters were reached with up-to-date and key information on Accreditation and voting procedures, Some election offences and penalties and election violence prevention; More people were convinced on the need to go out and cast their votes for the candidates of their choice; The dialogue sessions provided platforms for clarification of certain burning issues in the minds of the citizens

 

• Many Peace Ambassadors were raised and they promoted peace messages in place of hate speeches and fake news
• The project contributed to Free, Fair and Peaceful election.
